The Long Road to Healing

For over three decades, I dedicated my professional life to the art of hairstyling. This career provided me with a sense of purpose and stability, allowing me to build a life defined by service and the connections shared in a salon chair.

“Loss isn't an end; it's the soil for a new beginning.”

After a profound personal loss, the foundations of that life required a radical shift. I chose to lean into the pain and rebuild. Returning to college as an adult, I earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology and later a Master’s in Counseling, transforming my experience of grief into a professional mission.

Today, I live by the belief that our strongest chapter can still be ahead of us. Whether through strength training or professional counseling, my journey is one of resilience and the quiet, persistent growth found in a life well-lived.
